Looking for a new camshaft for my el ghia Tickford motor, any other good cams besides Wade Cams?

waggot cams are good, 157rwkw with extractors, exhaust and filter

Thats fair decent power, any head work done or mods to be able to run these cams? Lifters ect?

It was supposed to be ok but it lunched the valve guides on the intake. But that was 500 thou lift in a stock head. Didn't really do any damage other than that.

Just a thought, before you order a cam make sure wether you have the hybrid motor or not.

wade is probably the most popular and most used among the i6 guys,

oh yea, i forgot about waggot cams, ive never used them though...

Na dont have a hybrid motor its got 95 on the head

That's good for you, you'll have a bigger selection to choose from, make sure it's auto friendly unless you put a stallie in the auto.

Yeaa true, been thinking of the wade 1636 just a lil more kick without touching the engine to suit the cam, just pop it straight in lol already have full exhaust and getting a CAI so would top it off

We've used sure cams for custom grinds..

a) everyone likes complaining about how expensive they are
b) not sure why, but although the dev5 is a proven performer also seems to have a bad name for chain rattle and causing havoc with rocker gear...in saying that the only dev5 equipped car I have actually seen didn't have any rattle...
