dunno how much postage will be, but it will be 200 + postage. Have you got a pick a part or a self serve wrecker near you? if you do just go there and take them out of the rocker gear and put them in your pocket.

So ill need a head and all that gear, reground cam, shims, j3 ecu, au gasket, shave the head, bbm and all that associated gear. All up what price am i looking at? Assume average price? 1200-1300 not including tune?

chip is 190 plus post from tiperformance.com.au cam is around 200 + about 30 post each way, vrs kit with mls is about 180, head pressure tested and skimmed is around 120 give or take depending on where you go, shims you can get from a wrecker

Vrs kit and mls? Whats that sorry?
Im guessing bbm and parts would be around 200-400?

vrs is a valve regrind set or top end gasket set, the mls is the au multi layer steel headgasket

If you're going to a pick a part for your shims, you should be able to find a bbm. Or on gumtree.

will also need an el ecu, and all the s**t to activate the bbm switch point. not sure exactly what is needed as ive never done it

Im going to buy a complete tickford engine so that will have most of the gear i need including extra shims, bbm, head and cam. Ill buy the mls from ford but where do i get the vrs? All up including a tune im expecting 1700 all up (tickford engine including head,bbm and associated gear, shims, vrs kit, mls, regrinding cam, j3 chip and tune)
Can anyone tell me if im missing anything and/or if im wrong with prices
Btw you guys are the best im grateful for all this advice from the best :)

I will have my el auto ecu available once I do my manual conversion. Hopefully buying bits this or next weekend.

You won't need an el ecu if your getting a j3 tune.
