I've not pulled the radiator out in order to do this. What I have done is found it easier from under the car and also found you run out of room on the puller in the first instance and have to put the other three bolts in further, do it again, and again... In other words - A small (in length only) centre bolt will work... Easiest thing (if you have the gear) is to weld a nut onto a metal plate and cut three slots into the metal plate which your 10mm bolts sit in and screw into the balancer. Uhm... Crikey... Stand the front of the car up on something, removing the thermo fans and the under shroud (if still present) and work on it.

Maybe just have a decent look at the kit you got and modify it.

was told by a guy at work he shifted it out of the way. i'll talk to him more and post pics
