Ok guys. With in the next few weeks im going to get a new exhaust. So a few questions because im a total n00b.

First of all i was thinging of a Lukey 2.5 cat back with no resinator.
How much would i expect to pay for the whole thing? How much is fiitting (average)?

Can i get the exhaust installed on the factory exhaust manifold and just get it cut when i decide to get extractors?

Extractors -

I am thinking of extractors because if i get a new exhaust i have to do it. Plus it would be good with a cam if i decide to get one.
How much and where?

Lastly. Anyone done this in Adelaide that knows of a good place. Wests in corro? DNT or what ever it is?

Cheers all

dont get the lukey extractors, get a nice set of paceys instead...

my setup is:
pacemaker 4480 extractors
lukey 2.5" all the way through
lukey high flow cat
lukey straight through muffler
no rear resonator

it sounds horn :)

p.s. when you first get your exhaust done, the car will sound really quiet, dont be disheartened, it takes about a month of carbon build up for you to start getting the full sound out of it

DO NOT TOUCH LUKEY EXTRACTORS THEY ARE s**t HOUSE! Unless there free or dirt cheap (150bucks or less...). I had them, notw Pacey Comps and so much better down low! Absolutely sensational!
As for Lukey exhaiusts, don't touch any brand but Lukey, nothing sounds as good! But steer clear of there turbo mufflers but...

Whilst we are on the subject i was thinking of gettimg my exhaust done. How much (approx) would it cost for Pacemaker 4480 comp extractors and lukeys / redback cat back exhaust?

i thought X21 wildcats were better down low then the pacemaker comps and are cheaper?

oh btw u can just add the lukey exhaust onto ur existing cat. and when u get ur extractors just pull the manifold off and plug the extractors in. i think u might need to solder some flanges onto the cat to fit them in....i think im not an expert so dont quote me. someone correct me if im wrong.

btw which are better. lukey or redback for cat back?

phong =P~

can anyone else verify that? The thing about putting the new lukey exhaust on to the original Cat? I dont really want to do thus becauce part of a new exhaust is to get rid of the old s**t s**t.

meh if it aint broke dont fix it. if your existing cat is fine leave it on. i slapped on a lukey to my original cat and ive had no dramas. for the amount of kw it may increase, hi flow cat isnt really worth it.

So what is catback exactly? Just the exhaust from the cat back, or what? lol.
