i might be gettin a EA so i was wonderin if any1 knew how hard it is to do this, do u need 2 transplant the ECU or can u take it off, if u do have 2 transplant it then is it hard? thnx

i thought the whole tunnel is different for the gear bix but a person in dubbo put a eb 4l in a zj fairlane and she f**k flys along

its a matter of getting engine mounts (ve heard EA ones work, but if not XG one will), then an XG swaybay (to clear the sump), the radiator is differnt (an EA one will do), and yeah, the electrics.. so you'll need to leave the wiring there, and run it through the firewall, and then use the ECU it comes with.

Its not impossible.

it will fit in pretty easy, just gotta have lots of beer, music, and time.. should take a few hours.. and they f**k move!!! we transfered a ea 3.9ltr into a xe... lotsa fun!!
