hi guys.

i made a homemade snorkel out of pvc pipe to look a bit closer to the ford xh ones thats the ed style but wider.

parts used

bits of 75mm pvc pipe laying around the shed.

2 45 degree adaptors so the pvc pipe snorkel goes from the ed airbox around to the front of the car like the ford ones do.

to connect the airbox end i just heated that end up and squashed it a bit so it goes in the hole without cutting the lid.

what i want to know is how to mould the fitting that goes into the ed airbox lid to the pvc pipe so it clears the el top hose and be wider so theres only cold air from the front going in to the airbox without hot engine bay air leaking around the bit on the lid that the snorkel plugs into.

can anyone please post up links to all homemade shorkels and airducts for models ranging from ed-ba so i can have a look.

thanks
