i need to change my leads
i have taken off the air intake box and piping but still can't get to the coil pack. bbm in the way tips on getting to it to replace leads? its an EF 4.0 thanks, need this thing running by tomorrow hopefully with the new leads so the gas doesn't backfire |

Haha, it's down on the engine mount, basically take out your air intake stuff as you've done, and wish your arms were skinnier with a few more bending points, yeah it's a C*** to do anything with.

do it cold!
airbox out, or under the car, I find it easier to use a timber dowel or a long 3/8th extension and press down from the top.

yeh i might go at it with pliers in the light tomorrow failing that it should only cost me 20 bux at the local ford joint will probably go there.

easiest way is from under the car, going in along Cly 5, or is you remove the oil filter, go in along side 5 and 2 for a good double handed grip. do one at a time and its done by brail. you will not see a thing. but you will know when its in.
Bit like sex in the dark.

just make sure the lead goes on the correct plug, otherwise missfires and carryon will be your next posted question.
