I assumed so too, but different materials can change that a lot, so It makes sense.

Those v6 commo engines are tiny though!

Phong, simple answer is:

An I6 long motor is 175ish-kg.

An I6 long motor with all accessories and BBM (not exhaust manifold) is 220ish-kg.

they made the v6 heavier because it makes it a more effective boat anchor... and it sinks a little quicker.

Thanks Adrian...I have the motor with all accessories, bbm and exhaust manifold...so yeah the whole shi-bang.

Pulco...we struggled getting it on the back of punktured's ute even though it is lowered and we had an engine crane which didn't have too much height to it...ah wells.

phong =P~

Yea we tested the V6 as a boat anchor last w/end on my grandads boat.

We concluded, that due to the extra weight provided by the cast iron heads and the 90degree configuration of the motor, it made it better for digging into the ocean's floor.

Thanks for the suggestion ebfairmont3.9, we save some mudcrabs for you, enjoy
