So I know u guys probably get this a lot. Looking to replacement the rotors and never done it before I've looked online on how to do it with a video and then specific instructions for an ef. instructions say to tighten to 20nm now I don't have anything to do that to that accuracy should I still be able to replace the brake rotors?

yes you will, you know you can get torque wrenches for like 30 or 40 buck at supercheap.

20mn, leave the caliper off, do the nut up firm, you should still be able to turn the rotor, but it will only free spin a bit and just as it stops, it will kick back a touch. shuld be about right going by a bush mechanics 20mn measure.

check em after a few kms as well make sure they are still good.

They always specify a torque setting, however most people do it by feel.
As dc_todd said tighten it up until its firm, the rotor should still turn by hand, make sure there is no end float in the bearings.

Are you changing bearings? Some people swear by it but I've never changed bearings when changing rotors and never had a front wheel bearing fail. If using the existing bearings you will need to clean them of all the old grease and examine them for flats spots on the rollers, uneven wear, and that they turn freely and smoothly, if all ok repack them with new high temp bearing grease.
New rotors don't come with the rear seal, you'll need 2 of those as well. Finally unless your pads are very new replace them. New rotors should be fitted with new pads

seriously? I thought there was sufficient info provided already.

But to be helpful, I am not aware of any video footage of this procedure. if its not on youtube, it does not exist. once you have your wheel off, there is a total of 3 bolt that need undoing to remove a rotor, and a total of 3 bolts that need replacing to put it back together.

What you may find helpful though, do a google search and do some reading on how to correctly pack a bearing. Oh, you may want to look at something like a picture based manual like a gregorys or a ellerys, these can be very helpful for stepping you though.

Even do a search for an exploded image of the E series front brake system. all e series have the same procedure.
