1 rattling rocker, car has been parked for 3months.is there a hydraulic kit available?
how do i adjust the lash? or do i just buy new ones. Are they a std ford or a special size tickford?
Does anyone know where i would get rebuild specs/ book also
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

hi, they are hydraulic so not adjustable. give it a couple of weeks or maybe a decent drive and it may clear itself, otherwise the hla's (lifters) are about $10 each from your local parts store
the gregorys/haynes manuals are available from parts shops too around $40
u can get a cd off ebay with the manual on it or someone here may have a copy too

before changing lifters, try running some oil flush through it first, could save you some time and money if they free themselves up...

mine would be noisy for a few days then free themselves up for a couple months, then repeat the process again

got sick of it, and bought a new set from shiftkits.com.au

i went to fit some retaining clips on them i had lying around, but found these lifters were wider at the top than original lifters so i just fitted the lifters without any clips, not noisy at all now :)
