Well one of my injectors is leaking, which may explain why mine does it.

Mine does this too. And seeing as the EL's are doing it aswell, I can at least say it's not the EF coil pack 8-)

Has anyone noticed that from the first start of the car, that using the brakes on the first corner can cause this problem. Idle drops like it's flooded, and the brakes suddenly become very grippy. All this could be a vaccume related thing, maybe the master cylinder??
Then it doesn't happen for the rest of the day.

Being the uninitiated, could it be something vaccume, something that happens when the car is sitting overnight. Maybe the vaccume is over pressurized, the first start of the morning, then equalizes the moment we start to drive off, causing idle dropouts etc.

Or the other theory of mine is, maybe the way we are all cleaning out the ISC is actually damaging the ISC device to some degree. But I can't see how, just a thought?

Mine is similar, I am backing out of my driveway first up then using brakes and putting foot on gas, which is when it does it. However, I do know when I leave car on the street and dont use brakes til first corner it will get half way around then drop revs. You might have something here.

I thought it was just the LPG that died on mine. I now warm up fully on petrol before switching to gas. I have also had the very embarrasing and frustrating problem of stalling when I get to the end of the street and brake in the morning and then It wont start again or backfires since the manifold is full of LPG so there is not enough oxygen for the petrol to fire. I just had my injectors recoed and it seems to be fine. I will monitor it and report back ..... Gas mixers also get clogged up resulting in poor idle esp when cold. I have just gotten a spare gas mixer of the same brand and model which I will have fully cleaned out and a new stepper motor fitted and see if this helps. ( mine has done 330,000 klm).

try resetting your ECU to compensate for the cooler weather maybe?

might even get some miniscule performance gains :D

WD-40, my mechanic in a can!

condensation in the electricals, distributor cap & all the connections. especially where moisture will form, from hot engine over night to cold morning start.

Its cold down here so my start up problems has disappeared after my mechanic WD-40 fixed it.

well i went to a mate who is a awesome auto electrician. he said my prob has definately got to do with idle circuit so it is either the isc or the computer.

i changed the isc with my other ef falcon i have and am waiting to see if it happens over the next few days...

if it doesnt fix it the i am gonna have to get a second hand ecu...

he reckons it wont be one of the sensors.

anyways ill keep yas updated, hope this helps.

Mine does the same thing too, first thing in morning, i start it, dies, start, die, start and rev, it won't hold rev, you have too, and in that time you listen to it miss it's a** off for about 30secs, but i have replaced damm near everything to fix this, dizzy, coil, leads*2, plugs*3, injectors*2, oxyegn sensor, ecu, had 3 "mechanics" look at it. it seems mine has a flooding problem when it starts, but it's never the same cylinder twice in a row. just keeps bouncing between flood and leanout.
Any idea's??
