Ford put some grease around butterfly to prevent throttle sticking...If you check most V8's there's huge amounts of oil on inlet, even on new'sh engines..The pcv system helps keep oil clean and prevents any moisture building up in oil...Fortunately the PCV valve doesn't work at wot or where boost is evident on turbo motors as the valve shuts off on boost.Or is supposed to...Leaving the other vac hoses to do there job...
