yeah....i dunno as i dont have an EF and haven't tested one, but I've seen numerious EF models replacing their dual intake part with a single much like the EL claiming it works better
but yeah, unless the engine has been already modded and your chasing every last horsie, theres probably not enough difference to be worth changing
