VIC, Australia

Hi i went to the wreakers yesterday and got a intake tubing off an early eb falcon like from the airbox to the throttle body. Just wanting to know why its got a bigger mouth on it and why its more flexible then my 93 eb falcon one the one on my falcon has abit off the tubing that goes in to the airbox and the other just fits strait over it and clamps up the 93 one looks abit more restrictive. Just wanting to know why thanks.

That's how they were.
EB series 1 end EA had them I believe.
Better air flow. Chuck it on.

Ford reduced the size off the intake tube to reduce induction noise (but they did fit it with a bellmouth) so performance wasn't reduced. The EB11 was a much more refined vehicle compared with the EA/EB series 1.
