why waste ur time on a s**t 6? I was running an ea gl with a ported and hiflowed el xr6 motor, massive custom cam, motec, 4.11's, 5spd, full exhaust and the best it ran was a 14.9

f**k 6's.

owning a car with potential for low 14/high 13 second car is somthing, but being a driver who can actually get the times out of the car at the quarter is something else.

i'll provide on example in the N/A 6 running low times for relatively cheap, OED666. 13.8 - N/A. AU motor, Surecam, 4.11LSD and a T5Z.

My XT did a best of 14.6 with extractors, exhaust, cai and a flash tune. Still standard auto (shiftkitted though, that did help a bit) standard diff ratio and standard stall.

So really with the mods I have now, and a 4.11 diff, I may be there already..

(will do the auto shifter and EL computer before I try as well.)

didnt the boys from sydney morning heralds "drive" column get a BF XT 6 speed auto down the 1/4 at 14.5? I recall an article about it in here somewheres... surely others remember it. so yeah its easily possible. with the right setup.

i no that if i had that car id pull better time then that. 14.9 is pathetic. you've disgraced the i6. i rekon a stock i6 manual with exhaust, extractors, cai and a DECENT DRIVER behind it should easily break into the 14's. i think we both no the car wasn't to blame for that s**t time
