would a exhaust system with no mufflers be over the limit of 96 db's?

i removed a muffler from mine and i have no probs with the cops. and also a bolt has gone :P missing :P from the catalytic converter and it is heaps loud :D

you must have a cat(if fitted on car) a resontator and muffler box and if it is under 90db
