sti 5 speed sti 6 speed, Same Same BUT Different.

They are interchangable, so long as not vct, but different sealing method used, one is flat broad seal(ea-ed) other is seal pushed into rocker cover(ef-au), either on either but need correct seal, half moon was done away with ef onwards.

Look at the head, where the half moon is. The late ED onwards had no halfmoons, and had bolts to hold down the rocker cover.
