Whats a good price for a filter to fit an AUII?
Repco want to charge me $160.00. Is this the usual?
Or are there better prices at competitors?
Obviousely I have never bought one before. Any
input would be appreciated.

$120 would be a normal price up to $140.

I bought mine about a year ago for $120 but I went looking for a new one and I couldnt get it for any less than $140.

How does the bmc have less filtering ability?
1000's of people use them, if they didnt filter properly (lol) why would they be so popular and still sold and made with the same design?

I honestly cant say one filter is better than the other oviously; not one of us can IHMO, but going from what ive read n what ive heard word of mouth the bmc filters are just as good if not better than k&n; just most people go the k&n for the name.
Not putting k&n down at all as there is a a 50/50 chance ill be owning one within a few days lol.

go figure hey.

I have a contact @ Bursons who gives me trade price or better.

If a lot of people want one @ that price (and atm I'm not all that sure if it's a K&N or a BMC) I could order in a whole lot. I just don't want to abuse my contact and have him tell me to piss off.

American Autos sell K&N filters to suit Au's $95.00 last time I bought one. Big saving considering the first one one I bought for the Xr8 cost $115 from the same place about six months earlier. Must be something to do with the exchange rate eh??
