i dnt think my ef can go over 180km coz at that speed it starts kicking sortof. any idea? culd it be set 2 not exceed that speed?

yes except xrs and possible fairlanes, not sure

It's a known fact that any faster than 180 and the tail shaft will come off with an almighty bang

XR's have a different tail shaft that can sustain speeds above 180

all auto ef/els have speed limiters. the manuals aren't limited.

s**t, i've had 2 ef manuals and both are limited!
i have an xr ecu in it but i havent wound it up yet cause i havent changed the tailshaft.

mine goes over 180 just have to flick it to gas :)

mate do a search on "speed limiters are a good thing"

you will see pics of what can happen.
