marketing hype for the young & eager. 500hp is just a flow rate measurement, to achieve 500hp from A/N to gonna need a lot of bench top/dyno development... costly really.

If your gonna use theses guys make sure you got plenty of moolah as now these guys are a big performance business and it shows, you should see the new premesis lots of dough being spent in that shop.

I would love to see these "500hp" heads for myself. Would take a minor miracle to get that out of a falcon 6 head.

They have done work from Gary Myers Mustang to John Zappia's world record beating door slammer.

http://www.kostecki.com.au/

They aren't cheap, but they get results. They specialise in head porting (CNC) and have the results to prove it. They do quite a few sprint car motors and have a pretty good rep.

Like the saying "Good not cheap, Cheap not Good".

Here's the link to the ford 6 head. 2nd from the bottom.

im wondering though, how does a piece of paper that says this head flows XXX amount of cfm at ZZZ amount of lift giving away any hard work???? its not, it doesnt say how, why, size, shape or watever has been done to the head, it just gives a flow result...

as for them having a new nice big shop, i can tell, it shows in the $3400 price tag for this head... now if you were spending that much, would you buy it without some sort of test data

My head is currently with them having some machining done. I was going to opt for the CNC until I saw the price, way too expensive for a motor thats probably going to put a rod or two through the side soon. They are flat strap atm, seriously busy. Hopefully the head work they do will suit the surecam billet well, and I'll finally make power all the way to 6200-6500. It will be very interesting to see the flowbench data, I'm pretty sure they provide it with the package I'm getting, or they'd want to considering it costs a fair amount (still no where near $3400).

So many people have told me not to waste my time with port work on a turbo'd motor, but stuff it, I want power with lower boost so I'm doing everything I can.

if u go down and find the ohc 4l race head there is a low res pic of the flow chart.

looks like the intake flows at around 230cfm at .500 thru to .600 lift and the exhaust flows around 200cfm at .600 lift.
