Thanks for the assistance guys.. took everything on board and it runs great now.

Can only guesstimate how much extra timing we gave it, but its constant from down low, right through the rev range. No more stupid lag to 3000rpm.

Although inaccurate, we timed it to 100 clicks, AFTER advancing the timing "some" it was close to 12 seconds.. by the time we had finished it, it was a dash over 8 seconds, which I think is pretty decent for a stock motor and 3.23:1 diff.
