will be a straight fit, people put the log manifold on the au motors when fitting them to early e series

you will loose low down torque. thats the idea of the BBM, switching runners to suit engine revs is what it does.

no you will not have the vac lines and what not as there is no runners to switch. but, all pipes, I trust you mean intake and injectors and what not?

I'm pretty sure a log would foul on the air con compressor on an au. Just remove the runners from the bbm, it works in factory xr6 turbos without plenums

so remove the flaps inside?i thought that maybe the log would be abit easier where the piping is conserned.would just come up the guard and straight in to the tb.

i think wild el is just using an au engine in his el xr6 which would use the el a/c compressor so would that make a difference resulting it the log manifold fitting?

Not as "bolt up" as it sounds. The belt tensioner needs replacing or modifying.

That goes without saying as it has to be done for a BBM conversion!

yer you need an xh tensioner for a bolt on iirc 67rce ? then throttle cable might have to be changed to a longer one also.
