My AU3 runs dedicated factory LPG with twin scuba tanks under the rear boot floor, I am just enquiring how much would it cost to have these two tanks removed and have a 120L droptank, for LPG of course, put in its place?

Or would not be worth the cost of fabrication and engineering? I get 500km out of a tank in the city, I would just like to get more km's, and less fill ups.

Any information would be a great help.

Regards,

Holocaust

is it a sedan or wagon. i'm tipping wagon as it has twin tanks. my brother has same car but series 2. 115l capacity all up with a touch over 100 useable. i doubt there would be any benefit to fitting a big drop tank and you may run into trouble getting a custom gas tank engineered/passed.

my brother gets around 650 round town and close to 1000 on highway fully loaded. if empty range on highway is up round 1200.

sedans did i think. wagons got 115l. when i bought my ba futura wagon a year ago i paid 14k for it and at the time there was a dedicated gas futura ba for 18k. i'm kicking myself now that i didn't go down that path. it was a bit out of my range but the extra 4k would've paid for itself in no time. dedicated gas cars are now closer to 20k. my wagon gets about 500km to a tank and costs around $80 to fill. my brothers au2 dedicated wagon gets around 650km to a tank and costs about $50 to fill. no brainer really.
