just a quick question guys,

had the low coolant light momentarily come on today then disappeared. pulled over and took a quick look, coolant was still fine in the tank. just wondering if the sensors are prone to come on when going over bumps? anyway thats my theory. nothing's broken yet.... just want to know if the low coolant sensors are prone to give false readings.

They are a float in the tank so in theory any movement in the tank could change the reading. Mine has come on on occasions going around long tight left hand banks.

hit a hill or a bump and the coolant will slosh around
and read as low, its probably only down a tiny bit

throw a bit in it and itll go away :)

yeah,, mine has done the same thing before.. easily and cheaply fixxed with a lil water added... so do that 1st then if the lights momentarily still flashes on -off once every blue moon" then i would be taking a closer look at at the sensor..

THE float might have a hole in it making the float drop down this will make the light go on
