Put an M90 supercharger on your I6..

1. 2 grand ort to do it.
2. Will go faster than the V8.
3. Will be lighter than V8 therefore better handling.
4. Probably less fuel than V8 as well.
5. If it aint blown.. it sucks.

:-)

hmm thanx for commenting guys. so the consensus is to sell my pride & joy *sniff* and just go up to the v8. only issue with that is the v8s bound to have k's on it if i stay with a eb or ed8...well...i'll think about it then and have a sniff around.

cheers guys

yeah, but if you get a new/relatively new engine its gonne have hell as k's on it as opposed to a used car. iv looked around at eb/ed xr8s. lots have between 160-200. wots the lifetime of them likely to be? spose it comes down to how the owner's treated their car...

a 302W can last 500,000kms if its treated correctly, as can the I6... but the I6 headgaskets tend to go around the 200,000km mark.

I6 will do a head gasket in 100k if its on gas... why do you want a V8...? with the exclusion of the sound and the ED Sprint the E-series V8 dont really have anything over the I6...
