As our current fairmont EL has close to 250oookm on it and am looking at possibly putting some sort of decent exhaust system on it. Would it be worth it from the age of the car and km on the dial?

its all up to you mate, the age of the car or the k's wont affect it. its not as if your about to slam a turbo on the side an try pumping 20 odd psi into it :) but if you want your el fairmont to sound a little better/deeper, perhaps go a bit better then go for it

depends what you want and your personal preferences.
some people don't feel the need to spend $200.00 on a louder exhaust, or to replace an exhaust that already works.
if you want a sports exhuast then go for it...

Depends what you're after mate... If you just want noise, then CAT back system is relatively cheap and will get the job done nicley... But if you want it to make a difference to performance then it will be lacking... I reckon you should get yourself a set of extractors - My brother has an EF with about 225,000klms and he did this - and he did see improvements and has improved the note of the engine too... He's looking at doing the rest of the zorst system in a month or so as Apprentice wages aren't the best and he's doing everything step by step...

I'd rather spend the extra cash and let someone else do it for me :D
