hey all, i have just put a new starter motor in, got a new battery and alternator and the car wont start, starter motor doesnt seem to be getting enough power to turn the car over at all, the starter will try to turn it over but nothing at all apart from ticking frm the starter motor... could my battery be shagged already???

The starter relays click when they are stuffed, so try replacing that.

where are the starter relays at, sorry for sounding dumb

If you look beside you battery you'll see a black rectangle cover, which should have two phillips head screws holding it in. Remove that and there will be four relays underneath. The starter one is the one closest to the driver's seat.
You can temporarily swap it with one of the other three that are there just to see if it starts. (the others are for the horn, low and high beam lights)
