motor cuts out... why???

check ur injectors and fuel reg. if the car still has fuel flowing through it then its not the fuel pump or filter. check ur dizzy, leads and spark plugs.....while ur at it replace it :P

the dizzy was replaced not that long ago when it was converted to multipoint, i have just changed the fuel rail and injectors (not the fuel reg as it was missing so i used the old one) with ones from hoon69, the only issue i have now is when you lightly acc. it dies, so u have to give it a bit to get it going, this i have no idea what the problem could be

okai if it stutters and stuff.....it might also be ur fuel filter being blocked. thats what happened to my EL. the car was just stuttering and hesitating to get to speed until u give it a bit of gas (was really good on economy). when i replaced the fuel filter she felt much smoother but economy went up so im in the shat with that.

if the car won't crank over until u wait 20 mins...i think it must be something with electrical related. maybe try and clean the relays and stuff. see what happens. Oh and check the negative or positive wires from the battery to see if there is any corrosion. cause on my EA the car wouldn't start because the positive wire was hanging on one copper strand. give that a go

i solved the non starting problem - it was the computer, the ONLY issue now is the stalling under light power, but i will do as you sujest and replace the filter
