Finally sorted a set of leads to fit the accel 140036 coil, Auto One are supplying all the Top Gun parts including 300MAX wire for $118 plus postage, and i will make them up myself with the help of the Auto One shop. You need AU V8 coil ends, standard straight plug ends and 6 meters of wire. In hindsight I would have gone with the Screamin Demon 31737 some new AU2-3 leads and swapped the EF coil harness connector over to a AU2-3 harness connector.

Good to know you have it sorted.

Was the reason you bought that coil purely because it had the right harness connector?

Yes I thought getting leads to suit would be the easy part, but I think changing the harness connector would be easier if the connector was readily available.

Shouldn't be hard to source from a wrecker. It not like full wiring harnesses are in demand, so they shouldn't mind cutting them up.

You couldn't just buy an AU V8 lead set and use the leads that fit best?

The longest AU V8 lead is 100mm shorter than the longest 6cyl lead and they just get shorter after that, they also have 90 degree plug boots, if they where long enough it would have been as simple as cutting the ends off and fitting the straight boots.
