can you hear the fuel pump before you start it? and is there a ticking noise that comes from the engine around the same time as the fuel pump starts? if so, just check for spark on all cylinders. if not, your fuel pump or injectors may be worn out

Take out a lead, put a spark plug in the lead and put the end of the spark plug on a metal ground in the engine bay, crank it over and have someone watching to see if there is a spark. Please note: if holding the lead while doing this use something plastic or wooden to stop the risk of getting zapped.

Is the inlet manifold piping still connected, and has the MAP Sensor disconnected (passenger side of firewall, supposed to have a small hose connected)

When you turn ignition on do you hear the fuel pump going for a couple seconds? If yes, check for spark, if no spark report back, if you cannot hear fuel pump, write back here.
