The RACQ has a hand in this. If they towed it to a workshop they have approved, they should also intervene on your behalf.

An update on how things turned out with the car

The XD is almost finished just the rubber brake lines and callipers to go

The engine has been fixed and all the things the engineer commented on

I cannot say much about the Workshop involved as I’ve signed a non-disclosure document

I will state I was surprized that the owner was very helpful & grateful as three people have been charged with fraud and fired

That’s all I will say as I don’t know what I can and cannot say after signing that non-disclosure document
