Hey. Sunday Morning i picked up my 6 cyl Engine stand (holes already drilled so fit it str8 on).. put it in my boot n took it too my mates place. (Norm aka Tara_Hymen)

Wheeled in the motor.. and pulled it up onto the block n tackle and onto the stand and started to strip it... 5 hours later it was fully stripped and i have got all the bolts and other . in kero soaking.. and i cleaned up the pistons and few other things

next week (or week after).. buying the biggest cam i can buy to suit my Borg Warner 35 Auto.. and all new seals and rings.. lifters.. everything new and rebuilding the motor and slap it back into my car..
its gonna be a monster
did i mention i have a Twin Weber Manifold for it.

i went to my local wrecker today n got a Cortina Sump and Oil Pickup for this motor as my motor is out of a newer XF Falcon and the sump is different due to a different Cross Memeber position

There is a few photos below. the rest of the pix of my days progress can be seen on my site.

is that TWO, single webber manifolds cut up to make one? - thats great!

wouldnt you get more power keeping the motor EFI?

correct.. Carby = 3 wires to engine bay

EFI = 70

not to mention electric fuel pump in the tank.. and numouroes other stuff to do

if i was gonna goto that nuch trouble.. its easier putting a Tik4d 4.0L in coz its the same amount of work.

and yes its 2 manifolds cut to make 1
