mechanic told me what to get but i forget the name.

i am gradually leaking coolant but 100% not a BHG, so probably a small leak somewhere in the cooling system. mechanic recommended me i add this product in with the coolant and it will mend the ruptured part, act as a welding device for small hairline cracks etc.

anyone know what i need to buy?

cheers

chemiweld will only work if there is exhaust gasses getting into the coolant, eg blown head gasket.
bars leaks will seal any leaks, can block any restricted water gallerys too.

do u park the car on a clean driveway, look for coolant on the ground and the leak will be above that.

i think a good mechanic would help find the leak, not recomend a band aid solution..

if money is an issue than try bars leak but dont expect it to stop it forever.
and yes i have also seen this stuff clog already partially blocked heater cores and radiators..

There is a product out there that is a coppery item, that it fills the hole and hardens or something.

It is a long term bandaid solution.
