Hey guys...love the fourms here....first post aswell..
I have a 1989 DA LTD, when i start my car almost everytime my trip computer/clock thing beeps at me. It does 3 short beeps. Now i know that is warning me of something but it doesnt specify eg- when my self-leveling suspesnion started to play up, the trip computer/clock thing beeped at me and on my dash cluster a little "Check Suspension" thing lit up. So i was just woundering if anyone can help me find out why it beeps at me...and possibly how to fix it. Cheers dudes Dave |

it will beep till the oil pressure builds up.

i had same prob in my ghia
if you check your rear shocks u will probably find the air bags are perished and leaking air cure:replace with monroe gt/kyb or simular - you will also have to change springs disconnect compressor |

my ea don't have sls,,it only makes the sound till the oil pressure builds up.

erm...could this be the low petrol warning... iknow that my trip meter beeps like that when i have less than 80km's left in a tank

Yeah its definatly not low petrol warning, cuz that beeps how many kays left till empty..The oil pressure warning makes sence though.
