The NF Has never liked being cold since ive owned it and this morning it was cold here like start of winter cold and when i went to run my little sis to school this morning the NF was making a ridiculously loud ticking noise could be heard in the cabin clearly and everything it went away after a minute any idea what could cause this
it has no oil leaks all oils levels are fine oil was only changed less than 3000KMs ago now for those that dont know how bad my NF is in the cold it cuts off acceleration when cold seems to be getting worse to once its had its 2 second hickup when im taking off power come back immediately and in a big burst then its happy this is the first time its ever ticked at me in the 7 months ive owned it

Change your HLA's, probably due for it anyway. Only about $60 per set and an hours work. If it still does them maybe your oil pickup is dirty or pump a little worse for wear.

due to the fact dads currently in bed so i cant ask him till tomorrow arvy after work whats involved with changing the HLA's ?

Remove the top of the rocker cover, remove the rocker assembly and the hla's pull out. Tape the new ones in and reverst the procedure. Remove the tape when the assembly is in place or they'll fall out. Theres threads on here about it.
