So I have an oil leak behind the drive belt tensioner, Ive had a really good clean of the area and drove it to work and back came back to have a look at where it could be coming from and it looks like it could be coming from 2 of the bolts that hold the tensioner to the timing cover, Not the timing cover seal or the timing belt tensioner. The drive belt tensioner bolts looks to also be a little bit out where the tensioner meets the timing cover, is it possible for it to leak from these bolts il get a pic

Haha small world. I just saw your post, mines not anywhere on the left side of the motor, you might have a leaky timing belt tensioner, it's under the power steering pump

I just finished pulling most of the belt accessories off, Power Steering pump, Alternator ect. I'm going to degreese the entire area get it all sparkly then go through all the bolts make sure it's nothing hopefully as simple as a really loose bolt bleeding oil. I just ran outta light outside so I'll finish that tomorrow. I did see the bolt you mentioned under the PSP and it was dark black coated in oil so hopefully....That's it. Do you happen to know if there's a seal in that bolt that would need replacing?

Just put some gasket glue on it when you put it back in. It's a common culprit unfortunately not my issue. First thing I checked. Oil is more on the front of my engine all around the drive belt tensioner bolts. 99% sure it's leaking from 2 of the bolts, doesn't look like it was bolted on flush. Just thought I'd see if anyone's had this problem before I had ever need error heard or seen it before. Just been a bit lazy and haven't had the time after work to pull it off and put it back on flush
