what was the sender from??

i had a sender from an au in my ea and it would only go 1/4 on the gauge no matter how hot or cold the engine was or what revs..
i changed it to the eb one and it worked the way its supposed to..
just a thought...

AU's went to a different sysytem for the oil pressure guages and are not compatable with any earlier Falcons....E series.
