I think Ford recommend 15w-40 for general use. I was using Nulon 10w-40 Street & Track oil after running my engine in.

Did you find the oil pressure dropped when using the Running In oil?

yeah it drops down to nearly zero but when im driving it goes back up to normal. so im not sure if its just oil sender being old or normal. i never replace the sender when the motor was out i just use the same one.

So long as what you put in DOESN'T have Penrite on the label you'll be fine.

You can use anything from 0W40 to 15W40 Most of the synthetics will be 0W40 the semi's will be 10W40 and mins will be 15W40. (that pretty general.)

Put penrite out of it an just go to some of the websites and use the 'what oil do i use' or 'find the right oil' section and you can go wrong.
