2 speed powerglide were fantastic for drag cars, my brother has a turbo bmw, his mate has a ht with 308 and a powerglide tranny, they ran 15's and 14's respectively. he wants to race my falc, i said anytime hes ready. but i want to find some late 80's magna injectors for mine 1st, they apparently have 4 nozzles opposed to fords 2 nozzles. i'l try and find out .

I have some Magna injectors at work, from a TP, and they don't have 4 holes, they are the same to look at like the Falcon, except they are yellow.
The later ones from the TR/TS are blue in colour.
Hope this helps.

I think the VS Commo's in the V6 had 4 holes in their injectors.

The VN & VP's had injectors like ford. I don't remember on VR.

holden and ford, working together, how very, cosy. oh well, if it works, it works i guess. i am seriously thinkg bout putting a remote mount turbo on it, talked to my brother and he said its easy, as well as cheaper, less heat from manifolds etc, no need for intercoolers, unfortunatally, intercoolers have a cool effect. very seriously looking at it, any ideas or hints.

Heyo,

looking at the news story and saw this bit:

"(good oils) ...cost between 10 and 50 cents a litre more than cheaper versions, but it could be a price worth paying to keep your car on the road."

So paying $10 for 5L is crap oil, but if you pay $12.50 for 5L, that is good oil???

Reporters dont really have much of a clue do they? makes you wonder what other "facts" they report...

this is true, iv found that synthetics make all the difference, actually the last time i did a change i scrimped and get cheaper, whil i used good quality valvoline oil, i preferred synth.
still trying to decide on stage 2 cam for my car or getting an old falc to do up, wy fairmont 302.
