OK... An EA with a BBS Manifold... From what i know...They have a Short/Long Runners?? Yes?
In Short runners it make more power down low?
In Long Runners it makes more power high in Rev Range?

(Please tell me if i'm wrong or please Explain in BASIC terms! :D)

The EA has Stock Computer... Manifold needs EL one yer? Ok...Now i wanna know A) How do Shift Lights connect? B) How do u set up the RPM that the Light "Comes on" At? C) Whats the output...The Input of the light... 12V?

What I'm tryin to do is!... I know a little about Electronics, and i have An IDEA on how to make the Manifold Switch On the Stock Computer... IF I know the answers to my questions!

Any Help Would be great... Thanks

Parker

Ok just use a frequency switch from jaycar if you havent bought a shiftlight already. The pinouts for the computer are available in the tech docs section or tap into the tacho feed behind the dash or from the negative side of the coil.
Please try to make your posts gramatical.

BBM wont work on a stop EA computer because the fueling and timing are not suited to the BBM. It will ping like mad

The fact that the computer will be suited to the one set of runners means its injecting the fuel it thinks it needs and the timing as well.

When they switch to long runners, the fuelling needs and timing is different, but the non BBM ecu won't know this so will keep on doing what it thinks is right..

Other way round for the runners dude, you need vacuum to the BBM vac solonoid <3000-4000rpm then drop the vac to get the runners to switch to short.

Cheers

MMMmmmm Thanks... Lucky i happened to be asking about this... I'm thinking about a EA falcon... It has had a bit of work done to it, one on the things is a BBM-anifold... But it has to be switched manually...

It gets to about 4k but wont go any higher in the Rev Range...I was told that it's simplly not connected and that it has to be wired in... But i knew it had stock Computer, and it was a different Manifold.

But i didn't know it would cause problems...

Thanks
