Hows it goin

Jus wundering what would be the best maintenance or swap-outs for a EF falcon 5-speed manual with 220,000kms on the clock.
I drive around a fair bit. I know it can handle much more but I'd like to keep it for a while and do it up a bit more while keepin it runnin smooth without to many drama's

any ideas would be welcome

change the engine oil to a thicker one ie a 30w-50

chaneg the box/diff oil

all the normal things will keep it runnign good

sorry frank but i have to disagree on the oil choice.

30w 50 when at operating temp would be no different to 20w 50.

for a thick oil you'd need some thing with a higher second number like 20w55 or 25w60

My cvars done 650,000km's on the engine runs perfectly on 15W-40 oil that Ford recomends, doesn't use any oil or anything. Why would you need to change to a thicker oil?

my EL has only done 135,000km, but it runs sweet on 10w40 synthetic.
