Me wife's xa which still has the original 250 2v is getting a little tired so it's time for a rebuild.I've done the trans 'C4' with a 3000 high stall and a shift kit so I want a bit of performance out of her. any help would be great as there is'nt much on these engines.

What carb you running,. exhaust? these would be the first steps.

Got a 350 holley built for it about 6 months ago exuast is standard no extactors yet.

have seen, years ago, tripple carbs hanging off the side
of one of these engines. cant remember what type,
carbs or manifold

seen one on ebay but he wanted around 400 for it then i need carbs and the tuning would drive me nuts don't worry i thought long and hard about triples but i cant aford it.

Yeah, I saw one once like that, had a Lynx or Cain manifold, and had DCOE Webers on it.
