As in exposed within the engine bay. If they're in an airbox/heat sheild box I think its fine.

I recently installed a pod into my EB (cost 25 bucks, meh couldnt help myself!) and i noticed a bit more in the top end. And the sounds it gives is just crazy! It sounds practially the same as standard until u floor it and the the bloody thing bellows! Very loud too... Also makes cool induction sounds when revving.

I fixed mine up ... the cheap install I did ... didn't hold too well ... so i went down to my local Carline Mufflers and the guys down there installed it properly behind the passenger headlight ... now I am going to shield it off ... and by the looks of things is getting decent fresh air from above the headlight as well.

Gives a nice WHOOOSH when revved ... and a bit of a whistle as well when backing off ... just can't hear it while driving though.

I find that the car is revving a lot freer as well since I fixed it up as well. The old factory airbox was so restrictive.
