All it is, is a f**k resistor!!! dont be sucked in, the total cost would be about 10c from an electronics shop.

Your car is programmed to a default timing setting and your ECU (Engine Control unit) is also at a default setting to comply with strict government pollution regulations.

That means that your car’s full potential is being impeded by factory settings to comply with these regulations.

yet they say a programmed chip will give only 0.9 hp!! What a bunch of tools. what stupid pricks.

bad bad bad bad bad bad bad.

BAD

You will be lucky to not get a decrease in performance, let alone an increase.
haha.

Makes me wonder how much damage to cars this guy has actually caused.

I should really contact ebay about this guy and these type of listings.

I'm going to message the guy and tell him what i think anyway.

Hmm, interesting theory, I conclude it must come with a warning light, to brace yourself as your neck goes back into seat.

In case some of you are thinking, "look at all the good comments, realise these are unmechanically minded people with false hope or that are too proud to admit they bought 1 of these. I've seen this first hand as my mate bought 1 for his VT last year against my advice.

Some of the negative comments:
Quote:
ALL YOU GET IS A RESISITOR AND NOT CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, LEFT MESSAGES AND NO ANSW

Quote:
was not happy with mod did not effect car what so ever!

Quote:
I PAID $22 FOR A 10 CENT RESISTOR & CABLE TIE. WHAT A RIP OFF

Quote:
resistor no match with AU 6 did not say that in ad, didnt return my 2 emails

Quote:
Perthetic Product. Poor delivery. 1 pirce of wire. Waste of time

Quote:
crap

Quote:
I didn't nottice any inprovement using the 22 HP Gain Chip Mod. Waste of time

Quote:
to expensive for product should have picture up so you can go to d**k smith

Some neutral comments:
Quote:
nothing special, does nothing

Quote:
ust a Resistor and a cable tie and i no as a mechanic that won't do anything

Quote:
Not what I was expecting.

Quote:
one of the chips snapped in half while putting it in "without using any force"

Quote:
fast to send not what expected
