I just got a new set of ph4480's on my car after the old ones cracked around one of the collectors, and to my suprise the new ones were somewhat different to the old.

Bigger primaries, pipes bent in slightly diff ways.. do they modify the design over time?

Cant seem to find an email address for PM.. I was going to ask them if there have been any design changes.

My main interest is not so much why, but because both these headers were bought from ebay online vendors, if theres a possibilty of knock offs going around.

The first set was probably 2-3 years ago..

The differences are subtle and may not be easy to notice without the pipes next to each other.

The fella at the exaust shop first drew it to my attention, so I looked for myself and there was indeed some differences.

IIRC they changed to a bigger pipe version of the 4480's about a year ago.
