ive tried the 30 minute thing twice, followed the gregorys book on how to do it and it still dont work
guess i gota pay 100 bucks for a new one, no wreckers have any

ok i got a new inhibitor switch put it in at the f**k car still wont start
i have finally had it with this car im gona burn the mother f**k!!!!! |

ok ive narrowed the problem down to a short in the accesory circuit,
my battery is 12.8V when switched off but when i turn the key to ACC position battery voltage drops to 6V and slowly drops from there. this must be why my stereo aint working all my fuses were ok until i saw the stop lamp fuse blow, the main wire to the stop lamp fuse is RL (red blue wire) and that also joins to the ignition switch and ecu relay aswell. so if i trace this wire i should find my problem..... |

hey man sorry to be a C*** but ummmm i had the egsact same problame with mine i was trying to install a trip computer and un knowingly shorted somthing this killed the accesory fuse i manualy examined the fuse by eye and they seemed ok but check it with a volt meter mine had a slight gap/crack in the fuse and didnt join so no power its the only thing that stops ur radio intirior light and boot light coming on all extirior lights all dash will work fine but its a fuse i promice man dont look for inhibitor s/w pls trust me its a fuse cos the same fuse runs the electric egnition switch so jdt change it or swap your blinker or a nother fuse with it

okay the problem is now NOT in the accesory circuit. i turn the key to the acc position and battery voltage drops from 12.2V to 11V but when the key is turned to the ON position it drops to 5V
so the problem is is the ON circuit ive checked all fuses with a multimeter and checked relays aswell ALL are GOOD. |

ok i think i found my problem, its the BEM. i took it apart and the circuit board is fried,
now i have a mate that i can get another one from the thing is my BEM is yellow and his is green (high series) is it safe to put the green one in without blowing anything up?? |

righty o. i got my car running on friday night. i put in another BCM/smartlock unit which i got from a wrecker. i plugged it in, turned the ignition on and left it for 30 mins to reset the box.
after 30 minutes i turned it over and she fired and ran nicely. i drove my car into the garage and left it there as me and my gf went to lancelin for the weekend. i got back this morning, reversed my car out of the garage, turned it off, went itside for 10 minutes then went back to start my car and its doin the same s**t!! THE f**k WONT START ANYMORE!!!! |

sounds like you have a short some were and its f**k out ur BCM/smartlock unit

i have checked allll my wires and theres no short anywhere.
the bcm module is fine too. |
