ba_xr6bw: running your car for short amounts of time like that with the TB exposed is no problem as long as the air around is fairly clear and you dont drop anything in there.

Last time i was at Ford they had that off when testing the new TB sensor they just installed for me
 ba_xr6bw Just has her Period... It makes her feel like a man Raging at people through the internet! I would like to see her do it to my face! I'm not a woman beater so i would have to get my Girl Friend to do it anyway... I ended up getting my answer by my mate having a Chat to some of the mechanics at Ford Murwillumbah. They are Geniuses! I couldn't believe the Intake Manifold Gasket Fixed it But she is running great now  And when i think about it it makes sense Thanks for your Support guys!

yes a lot of us are friendly and willing to help sadly though having a go at other members for no reason is getting more and more frequent and i think the moderators need to do something about it

Yea look i seem to be copping alot of crap from people, this guy keeps sending me silly private msgs and he was never even in the middle of a dispute with me.
never heard of him. so lets move on and forget about my lil tantram about the throtle body being open like that (while reving)  its just something i wouldnt do, and thats my choice/ opinion.next time ill keep my opinions to me self. Good to hear you have sorted the problem out mate.
