98 AU Xr6 hp

well it was due for a service 280,000kms!

oil blacker than night! :( thast was done maybe 5-6thou ago as well!

and since it has been i dunno 12 months + since the plugs where changed might as well

so i pulled em out and found the bellow

1 through to 6 from the top with a brand new one at the bottom

what i can see is a GREEN tinge yes GREEN on 3-6 no idea what that means
wile 1-2 look ok!

Number 1 looks like it might be the wrong plug , or weak spark, just going off a chart I have , it looks too black compared to the others

far left is either rich, weak spark, low compression or slight oil past the rings or valve stem seals.
The pics aren't good enough to see.

Need to see them up close. not that reading plugs that old will tell you anything anyway.

oil well it does need new valve stem seals!

should have done a compression test! ohh well next time


any idea on the green tinge ?
