Hi Al ill cut to the chase...

Car runs fine on petrol but wont rev past 2 grand on gas, is this likely to be a timing issue?
If not any other suggestions?

Thanks
Dan

Sounds more like a gas supply issue. You could try advancing the timing a bunch and drive it on gas see if it is any different, at least that would rule that out for you. Be careful it doesnt ping it's head off though.

sounds like the LPG system unless its REALLY retarded in the timing in which case petrol will be s**t as well. but yea bump it up a few degrees remembering to put the ecu into diagnostics mode or else it will fight the changes you make. My car was running fine on LPG and petrol and i bumped the timing up and got an extra 100kms per tank LOL
