hey this problem has now come to my attention after fixing the water pump
the powersteering pump is squeaking, its "like" the bearing is gone but it is not rough at all its smooth to turn so why
i really dont want to spend the money getting a reco

They don't have a bearing as in a ball bearing, but a bushing. Does it have enough oil in it????

yep plenty of oil
so if it dsnt have a bearing then this would probably fix it

that kit will fix any leaks.
u say it squeaks now after fixing the water pump. ive had that problem before but was caused by getting grease/dirt on the belt. gave it all a good hit with degreaser and pressure cleaned and it stopped squealing.

ps u will also need a pulley remover/installer to put half that kit in. i looked into it a couple of weeks ago.

thanks
yeah I thought that I just didnt hear it over the noise the water pump was making
when i first got the new pump on it was quiet as, then after a few mins it started to make noise gradually getting louder

Yeah I had the same problem with my serpentine belt, gave it a good clean and no more noise from the pwr str pulley.
